A MAN aged 42 has been arrested for allegedly holding up hairdressers at knifepoint.
An investigation started in December when a hairdresser in Torreagueara complained that he had been robbed by a man wielding a large knife.
While the investigation was being carried out, other people, also owners of hairdressing salons, filed complaints with the Torreagüera Civil Guard for robbery with violence and intimidation and theft.
In all cases the description given of the assailant was identical. Police identified a suspect and arrested the man from Alcantarilla who has been handed over into court custody.
