Spain's nationwide debate: Should women be able to claim period leave?

NIJAR has the lowest average per capita income in Spain for municipalities with more than 10,000 inhabitants, according to recent figures from the National Institute of Statistics, at €6,253.
Two other localities in Almeria, which like Nijar are important centres for the agri-food sector, are also ranked in the bottom 10: Vicar (€6,634), and Adra (€7,112).
