ORIHUELA’S mayor, Emilio Bascuñana, visited Benidorm to see first-hand how the Costa Blanca municipality manages its water supply. Benidorm is now able to make use of original, avant-garde and innovative procedures to make the best possible use of its available water thanks to Dinapsis Operation & Lab. Bascuñana, accompanied by Benidorm’s mayor Toni Perez and Jose Ramon Gonzalez de Zarate, councillor responsible for Watervisited theDinapsis Operation & Lab installation in Avenida Alfonso Puchades where they shared their experiences and data with their Orihuela counterparts. The €2 million creation of water companies Hidraqua and Suez, the initiative’s operations centre and laboratory, were inaugurated in June 2017 to test out, operate and demonstrate the most advanced solutions for sustainable management of the town’s water supply
