The Cueva de Nerja Foundation has released a 2020 calendar in collaboration with the Red Cross. The goal of the charitable calendar is to contribute to the social work carried out by the Spanish Red Cross. Collaboration is voluntary for those who wish to acquire the calendar, which is free. However, people are encouraged to provide a donation, that will go in its entirety to the humanitarian institution. The manager of the Cueva de Nerja Foundation, José María Domínguez, presented the innovating calendar with the Regional President of the Red Cross, Eduardo Recio. In total, 5,000 calendars have been made, 1,500 will be distributed by the Red Cross and 1,500 will be available in the Nerja Caves. The remaining 2,000 calendars will be taken t national and international tourism fairs, including Fitur in Madrid.
