AFTER an initial test, Spain’s largest energy company Iberdrola has signed an agreement with the Avia service station network to install fast charging points for electric cars in 100 of Avia’s sites.
Initially, they were tested in just seven provinces but now it is expected that they will roll out into the majority of Spanish provinces and there will be a total of 500 fast chargers in the 100 service stations to ensure customer satisfaction.
Long term, Iberdrola aims to have 25,000 recharging points across the nation.
