Costa Blanca's Altea says Happy Birthday, Ludwig!

Altea celebrates the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven’s birthday with a Beethoven Festival.
There will be three concerts next month at the Casa de Cultura in Altea on February 14 and two more Altea la Vieja’s Centro Cultural on February 22nd and 29th.
“It is a pleasure to finish one year and begin another by announcing new projects like the Beethoven Festival, in line with the Valencian Cultural Capital programme,” said Altea’s Culture councillor Aurora Serrat.
“We shall continue bringing music to all those who love it with a programme that is as complete as possible for all tastes,” the councillor added. Festival organiser Marcos Ivorra thanked the town hall for supporting the event.
“The Beethoven Festival would not have been possible otherwise,” he said.
