“We Lost Our Dining Terrace”: The Oceana Club In Alicante Spain Is Showered With Messages Of Support And Concern

The Oceana Club in Alicante, overlooking the picturesque Mediterranean sea, has been severely battered by storm Gloria today.

The owners Franco and Jody had recently renovated the outdoor terrace into a beautiful and popular venue.

Oceana Club in Benissa had become famed as the perfect venue for live music and entertainments for anyone in Calpe, Moraira or Benissa Costa.

The Crew at Oceana Club worked hard to bring back the beautiful restaurant to its proper place in the Costa Blanca scene and it has come as a devastating blow to see the terrace battered by the waves today.

Their message on Facebook with the poignant words which read: “We lost our dining terrace” received hundreds of messages and shares within minutes.

The moving messages of support read:

“After all your hard work to bring back this beautiful restaurant to it proper place in the Costa Blanca scene…got it up and running as a special place to dine. Feel so sad for them.”

Another wrote:

“So the inglorious Storm Gloria dug her nails into you Franco and Jody. So very sad after all your hard work… I wish you well… and hope that you are encouraged by all the good wishes you have received. Buena suerte a todos”

And a third added: “We’ve eaten on the lovely terrace that has been destroyed last night by Storm Gloria. If ever there was a misnomer this is it. Poor folk have only recently got it up and running as a special place to dine. Feel so sad for them.”

And the support has come as no surprise as Franco and his team have won the hearts of locals and tourists alike.
