THE ‘Association of the Most Beautiful Towns’ in Spain have awarded Alcúdia and Pollença in Mallorca, Spain to join their coveted list.
Acceptance into the association means that support will be given to each of the municipalities Councils to help recover their historical heritage through knowledge and conservation in order to boost tourism.
The accreditations for the most beautiful towns in Spain will be awarded at FITUR, the annual tourism fair in Madrid, on Friday, January 24. During the presentation a promotional video will be screened to show the work that is carried out by the Association in Spanish with English subtitles, fulfilling their objective of expanding into the international market.
