THE lifeless body of a man has been found on the shores of Formentera in Spain.
The deceased individual was found by a resident this afternoon (January 21) as they were walking along Levante beach, considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Balearic Islands.
The Guardia Civil have stated that the man, who is suspected to be of North African origin, had been dead for several days considering the state of his corpse, but that the storm had dragged him to the shore.
As Euro Weekly News understands, an investigation has now been launched by the police who believe that the man may have fallen from a migrant boat.
