TRAGIC: A car and a lorry collided on the road between Albox and Arboleas. CREDIT: Euro Weekly News.
TWO people died when a lorry and a car went into each other on the road running between Albox and Arboleas on Thursday morning, the Andalucia Emergencias 112 service reported. The accident occurred on the A-1204 leading into Albox town from the Almanzora highway at kilometre mark 6,500 at the level of the industrial estate at around 9.30am. Firefighters from the Consorcio del Levante Almeriense had to cut one of the victims out of the car. An emergency medical team applied CPR to one person, but were unable to save their life. At this point there is no information on what caused the accident.
