BREAKING: Man detained in Spain’s Murcia for beating his wife and pregnant daughter

Agents belonging to the Decentralization Unit and Family Protection and Assistance Team of the Local Police in Murcia arrested an individual on Monday 3rd February.

The 50-year-old man has been charged with threatening and beating his wife and daughters. One of the daughters was in an advanced stage of pregnancy while the other was younger than 16 years of age.

The event took place at 8.30 pm inside the family home, located in the hamlet of Garres y Lages in Murcia.

Upon arrival, police officers did not find any of the family members in a state of emergency.

The victims of domestic abuse have been sent to a health centre for precaution.
