Fraudulent banknotes circulating in Spain’s Mallorca

THE Local Police have issued a warning about the circulation of fraudulent banknotes in Spain’s Mallorca. There are several telltale signs that the €5, €10 and €20 notes are fake, including unusual signatures and Greek symbols. However, their size and appearance are very convincing and residents are asked to carefully study their cash.
