Another Royal Upset As Queen’s Grandson And Wife To Divorce

As Euro Weekly News understands, the Queen’s grandson Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn have confirmed they have separated.

Peter Phillip is the elder child and only son of Anne, Princess Royal, and eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Peter Phillips met Autumn Kelly in Kelly’s hometown of Montreal, Quebec in 2002. Their engagement was announced several years later in July 2007, and they married in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, on 17 May 2008.

It has been revealed in a statement that the couple have said the decision to divorce was “the best course of action for their two children and ongoing friendship”.

It is understood that they will share custody of their two children Savannah, nine, and Isla, seven, and that though the respective families were “sad” they are also reported to be “fully supportive” of the couple’s decision.
