THE approaching Valentine’s Day is already evident in streets of the El Salvador area of Elche with coloured balloons, hearts and messages of love running through the centre. The Town Hall in collaboration with the merchants of Calle El Salvador and surrounding areas have announced activities that both residents and visitors can enjoy. The public has the possibility to participate in different draws with several prizes. To compete, those interested must shop or eat in the establishments of El Salvador, Antonio González and San Isidro streets; take a picture with the colourful decorations; publish it on social networks like Facebook or Instagram; using hashtags like #StreetSalvador. At the end of the day, the most original image will be selected and rewarded.
