ALMERIA has launched a major promotional campaign to attract visitors from other Andalucia provinces to the city for the Easter Week celebrations.
“Andalucians have an intimate, welcoming and very popular Easter right on their doorsteps, which can be accompanied the rest of the day by our sun, good climate, cuisine and culture”, commented City Promotion councillor Carlos Sanchez at the ‘Pasion a un paso’ campaign presentation this week.
Sanchez revealed the city council has invested in 60 standard street marketing signs and 10 digital signs in different weeks in the provincial capitals of Granada, Jaen and Malaga up until March 17.
“The time has come to communicate beyond our borders the values of Easter Week in Almeria, last year declared of National Tourism Interest, and these three cities have been chosen due to the number of visitors coming from there in recent years”, the councillor explained.
He said he is convinced the street marketing will “contribute to creating a strong brand surrounding Almeria’s Easter”, and is in addition to other marketing strategies.
“You can be in contact with and enjoy Easter Week in Almeria without the mass crowds of other places”, he affirmed.
