THE Functional Medicine Unit of the Málaga Quirónsalud Hospital in Spain’s Costa del Sol has received the ‘2020 Business Excellence Award’, awarded by the Institute for Professional Excellence.
The coveted award recognises the medical team’s creation and implementation of the Teryos Method (Therapeutic Target Non-Invasive Stimulation). This is an innovative procedure for the diagnosis and treatment of pain which is exclusively available at the Functional and Sports Medicine Unit of the Hospital as well as in the Biotronic Health Clinical Centre in Granada.
“This method opens doors in medicine by developing and applying new biomedical technologies in the field of diagnosis, evaluation, control and treatment of functional capacity and pain” explained Dr. Carlos de Teresa, the head of the Functional Medicine Unit.
In aim of improving health, the Teryos Method ” achieves excellent clinical results, by facilitating a diagnosis and the earlier treatment of complex pain processes, as well as the stimulation of physiological responses.”
The Teryos Method is developed through four phases and is not only non-invasive but is proven to have no side effects.
