Torremolinos holds “Colours for peace” race on the Costa del Sol

THE Torremolinos pine forests will once again become a colourful circuit to host this Saturday, February 15, the third edition of the Family Race ‘Colores para la Paz, a sporting, supportive and non-competitive event, where funds raised will go to young people of the Parish of Santa María del Mar.

Organized by the Los Alamos Neighbourhood Association and the parish itself, in collaboration with the Sports Board, it will leave from Cocodrilos Park at 11am and cover a distance of 5 kilometres.

The uniqueness of the race is the coloured powders that will be thrown into the air along the route, located at strategic points, dousing the participants in a shower of colour which will make it an unforgettable day full of fun spent with family and friends.

The festive atmosphere will be enjoyed throughout the journey to culminate with music and a burst of colour in the finish area, where there will also be animation and a masterclass taught by the Anita Sawalani instructor, Bollywood dance instructor and international teacher.

Registration for this participatory event that aims to promote a sporting activity suitable for all ages and a healthy lifestyle can be done online until Friday, February 14 at the address https://pmdt.torremolinos.es/ iii-race-colors-for-peace / Children under 12 may contribute €9, while adults will pay €10.
