A man has died yesterday, Thursday, after a tree fell on him in a property located in the town of Istan in Spain’s Malaga, as reported by the Emergency Service 112 Andalusia.
At around 3.15 pm, the emergency number 112 was alerted that a man was trapped under a tree in a field near the town’s water treatment plant. Personnel from the Guardia Civil, Civil Protection, the Public Health Emergency Company (EPES), the Marbella Fire Brigade and the Local Police were swiftly deployed to the scene.
Firemen had to aid recovering the dead body from under the trunk. According to police sources, the deceased was working on his own farm when the accident occurred. The circumstances surrounding the event are being investigated.
