THIS was the dramatic moment a dog sprinted down a dual carriageway in Spain, mounting fear from drivers for the animal’s safety.
The scared canine had run for several miles down the middle of the C-17 highway in Osona yesterday afternoon (February 13) with concerned drivers putting their foot on their breaks and lowering their speed to ensure that the animal was not struck by any cars.

The footage of the incident has since been posted on social media and soon went viral with many users asking about the fate of the dog.
Although causing tailbacks and heavy disruption, thankfully, multiple drivers had alerted the Mossos d’Esquadra police force who rushed to the highway and took the animal off the road.
As Euro Weekly News understands, the canine was not injured and has been put into a shelter as its owner has not yet been found and the animal does not have a microchip.
