The Met Office has issued more than 300 flood warnings for the UK as Storm Dennis continues to bring heavy rain and strong winds.
The Army was called out on Saturday to help residents shore up flood defences in Ilkley and Calder, West Yorkshire, now the residents face an anxious wait to see if the river floods over into the town and back into their homes again.
There is a Red warning for South Wales, meaning there is a likely risk to life and damage to property and infrastructure, and three severe flood warnings for Scotland.
Two people had to be rescued after their car was swept off the road near Newcastleton, in the Scottish Borders.
The Environment Agency has warned flooding could be worse than Ciara because of the saturated ground.
