A SMALL and friendly Calpe bowls club is inviting new members to ‘come along’ and have a laugh on and off the green.

Colina Bowls Club marked Valentine’s Day with a themed ‘wear something red’ match, followed by a prize giving service.

Club secretary, Joy Savage, said: “We are a very small friendly club at The Colina Club in Calpe. We welcome members of all ages and capabilities and only play between ourselves as our green is smaller than normal. However, we are a very friendly crowd and have a good laugh on and off the green.”

For more information or to arrange to along for a ‘free, give it a try’, contact Joy on 669 213 524.

Joy added: “We only play Monday and Friday mornings at the moment but should we get a lot more members join us then other mornings or afternoons can be opened up.”
