AT LEAST eight people have been killed in a drive-by shooting in Germany tonight, it is reported.
The victims were gunned down in two attacks in the city of Hanau, German newspaper Bild reports.
Five other people are said to have been seriously injured in the bloodbath during shootings on two shisha bars in the Kesselstadt district.
Local news website Vorsprung Online reported that a gunman blasted at passers-by from a car.
Another German news website Hessenschau says a hookah bar was initially targeted and several people were shot at Kurt-Schumacher-Platz, a central square..
Eyewitnesses reported hearing eight or nine gunshots and at least one victim lying on the floor.
The gunman is then said to have entered another shisha bar, where five more people were slaughtered, according to reports.
Police and emergency services flooded the area, but no arrests are thought to have been made with the suspect on the loose.
Heavily armed police were on guard at the scene of tonight’s horror shooting.
