National Police agents arrested last week a 34-year-old man in Gandía (Costa Blanca) after allegedly committing five violent robberies in commercial establishments, four bars and an electronics store between January 10 and 30. Among all the thefts, he took 662 euros, two electric scooters and a video game console, as the police said in a press release. The suspect fractured the access door or the windows with a sewer cover at dawn to be able to subtract the cash registers or force the slot machines. The suspect was located and detained in the Las 500 neighbourhood of Gandía. He wore a garment he was wearing in one of the robberies, and other evidence was also found during the investigation. The detainee has almost a hundred police records and has been brought to justice.
