Cartama hosts a celebration of it’s elderly on the Costa del Sol

LAST Friday the elderly people of Cartama attended a sporting event that put the finishing touch to the Semana del Mayor ‘La Riqueza de Nuestros Mayores XII’ a week where the elders of Cartama have been the protagonists, organized by the local Social Welfare Department.

During the day, the attendees enjoyed games and competitions, a healthy breakfast and a Zumba session. Throughout the week there have been various activities such as workshops, sports activities, theatre, cinema, a trip to Osuna and activities focused on healthy living habits, among others. The objective of this event is to increase the active participation of the elderly in the municipality.
