Donated a €700 cheque: For the benefit of the Cudeca Hospice Credit: Friends of the Theatre Association
REPRESENTATIVES of FOTA (Friends of the Theatre Association) recently presented a cheque donation from the proceeds of the ‘Bake a Cake Morning’ for the benefit of the Cudeca Hospice. This has become an annual event and though their main fundraising activities are to help keep the doors open for Salon Varietes who have no grants they devote the one morning in the Autumn to helping CUDECA.
The representatives of FOTA gave Esther Ráez of the Communication and Fundraising department of the Cudeca Hospice a €700 donation. Val Williams, representative of FOTA said: “It is always very nice putting our efforts together for such a good cause as CUDECA. Esther Ráez with the Communication & Fundraising department commented: “From the Cudeca Hospice I would like to express our gratitude to the FOTA association for their continued support and commitment.
The community is always invited to collaborate helping out for the hospice and if you would like to join up the FOTA, please contact Val Williams at valwilliams39@yahoo.com.
