Hostage-taker surrenders after hours of negotiations
A 61-year-old Brazilian man who recently returned from Lombardy, northern Italy is in isolation being tested for the coronavirus after he displayed symptoms of the disease.
Brazilian health authorities reported this is the possible detection of what could be the first case of coronavirus in the country. However, they clarified that a new test has yet to happen for definitive confirmation. He is being treated at the Albert Einstein Hospital, located in the southern part of the city of Sao Paulo.
According to sources at the Hospital, one of the country’s most prestigious medical institutes, the patient has presented some characteristic symptoms of the coronavirus such as fever, cough, sore throat, and itchy skin
