Four decades of making music on the Costa Blanca

ALFAZ’S Sociedad Musical La Lira began celebrating its 40th anniversary with a recent concert in the Costa Blanca town’s Escoles Velles cultural centre.nLa Lira’s president Miguel Juan Baldo took advantage of the occasion to announce the band’s 2020 programme of concerts to commemorate 40 years of making and teaching music. Baldo also revealed a new logo specially created for the anniversary. La Lira-which has a band with more than 56 musicians–also teaches music to children from the age of three as well as adults.
