Tuesday night, a man killed his wife and subsequently committed suicide. The tragic event took place in the couple’s home, on Pedro Gomez Street in Aznalcóllar Castle in Seville.
The Civil Guard informed Europe Press that the 51-year-old and his 43-year-old wife were found at about 11.50 at night. The two bodies had gunshot wounds, and the crime will be considered a case of domestic violence.
There have been no previous signs of domestic violence, no reports about abuse or any restraining order issued against the husband, according to the institute of Arms. The motive of the shooting is unknown. The investigation will be handled by a team from Mujer-Menor (Emume), La Guardia Civil and the Judicial Police of San Lúchar.
