THERE were some good scores in Aguilon Members Club most recent outings. Particular congratulations go to Mike Esposito for achieving a hole in one on the 12th hole in the weekly stableford. Wednesday February 19 – Individual Stableford Although a little cold when the wind blew, the sun shone on the players with some good scores as well as the hole in one recorded. 1st Jim Laing 38 points on a card play off 2nd Lynne Whibley 38 points 3rd Karyn Esposito 37 points on a card play off Twos: Kevin Manser 3rd, Paul Mailly 8th, Eric Laing, Ann Miles 12th, Karyn Esposito 14th, Bill Gibb 17th, and “hole in one” Mike Esposito 12th TOP PLAYER: Campbell Lamont Qualifer winner Matt Mattacola Wednesday February 26 – Campbell Lamont Qualifier Round 10 and a perfect day for golf: warm and sunny with only a gentle breeze.
