National Police agents assigned to the Gandía Police Station, Costa Blanca, have arrested three people, two women and one man, between 23 and 58 years old, of Spanish and Colombian nationality, in two operations against drug trafficking in Gandía during last week. In the first intervention, a couple who were selling marijuana were arrested, while in the second operation, a woman was arrested for selling cocaine. Investigations began when the police noticed that drugs were being sold at two Gandía residences. In both cases, house searches were made. Of the three detainees, two of them had a police record. The couple has been released, but they have to go to the judicial authority when required. The other detainee has been brought to justice.
