IT is now 20 years since 3D printers hit the market and since then they have played an important role with the majority of hearing aids for example being produced by them.
An Italian researcher based in Cataluña whilst investigating uses of such printers stumbled across a way of making false meat using vegetable products and now Nova Meat based in Barcelona is able to produce ersatz steak, chicken, pork and rabbit which may look a little strange but tastes like the real thing.
