The Met Office has issued nine yellow weather warnings across the country
Storm Jorge is expected to unleash more heavy rain, winds of up to 60mph and snow on the UK today as the Met Office issue yellow weather warnings for much of the country.
Hard hit Communities already dealing with floodwater are set to get another deluge, the Met Office’s Emma Salter said:
“It’s going to be quite lively with some heavy rain and strong winds, it’s going to be a really wet start to the day.”
In East Yorkshire, the local council said four tonnes of sandbags were laid overnight in the village of East Cowick to divert water.
