PARK DESIGN: Children’s council asked for ideas. Photo credit: Javea town hall
JAVEA town hall invited the Children’s Council to help design the Costa Blanca municipality’s Thiviers and Freginal parks. Both are to be totally renovated and Javea’s mayor Jose Chulvi and Education councillor Montse Villaverde attended the last Children’s Council meeting to hear their ideas. They were accompanied by Parks and Gardens technician, Ricardo Juan who provided plans of both the public spaces and explained the minimum safety requirements that would be necessary. The town hall intends to divide both parks into three zones, with an area for the smallest children, another zone focused on sport and a third for the adults–parents or grandparents–who accompany the boys and girls on their visits to the park.
