The number of Spanish people infected with the coronavirus has now risen to 193, according to the Ministry of Health. Three of them are children, two in Castilla La Manch and one in Madrid.

Fernando Simón director of the Center for Coordination of Healths and Emergencies has also reported the first death due to the coronavirus: a 69-year old man who contracted pneumonia.
Seven of the coronavirus cases in Spain are cared for in the ICU, and fourteen of the people who have contracted the virus are health workers.
