PUPILS from all Altea schools filled the Plaza del Ayuntamiento in the Costa Blanca town, celebrating International Women’s Day and calling for equality. One of the teachers read out a manifesto, at the same time explaining, “We are here to raise our voices and this is a good day because together we are creating a better world with a place for respect and equality.”
