The State Meteorological Agency, AEMET, announces this morning that especially today and tomorrow will be very hot in southern Spain, with temperatures of up to 34 degrees Celsius on Costa del Sol. These temperatures are exceptionally high for this time of the year, more than 10 degrees higher than normal. The peak of this heatwave will come tomorrow, Wednesday, and after that, we will see the return to more normal temperatures for the season.
The notable rise in temperatures is due to the presence of a warm air mass with high atmospheric pressures and the absence of wind and cloudiness, according to AEMET.
So if you’re on Costa del Sol, make sure to go to the beach today and enjoy the summer-like weather!
