Coachella Music Festival is postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic. The world-famous music festival gets thousands of visitors from all over the world every year, but after positive coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the Coachella Valley in California, they now choose to postpone.
“Under the direction of local health authorities we must sadly confirm the postponement of Coachella and Stagecoach because of the concern caused by COVID-19,” the organisation said in a statement.
The postponement would be six months, and the festival will take place on October 16-18 this year.
“This decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our assistants, team and community very seriously,” state the organisation.
Tickets already purchased will be valid in October as well.
