MARBELLA TO HAVE LIGHTS OUT FOR AN HOUR IN SUPPORT OF WWF ON THE COSTA DEL SOL

MARBELLA town hall, through the Environmental Department, will once again join the WWF campaign ‘La Hora del Planeta’ by turning off the lights of the Pirulí roundabout, between 20:30 and 21:30 hours, as well as those of the Barcos and the Arco de Marbella. This initiative “will serve to demonstrate that nature matters and that together we are part of the solution to climate change and the loss of nature,” according to the organisation. The WWF pointed out that “We are in a key year to ensure a sustainable future and the campaign aims to re-mobilise thousands of cities and entities around the world to demonstrate that nature is important and that it is fighting for it by turning off the lights of its main buildings and monuments.”
