Cristiano Ronaldo to turn luxury hotel chain into hospitals for coronavirus victims

Star football player, Cristiano Ronaldo, will turn his hotels into hospitals to care for those infected by the coronavirus it has been confirmed.

The Portugese winger who stars at Italian club Juventus, pledges to help those in need and is said to be paying every healthcare staff’s salaries including doctors and nurses.

It comes as 169 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Portugal were confirmed last night, though there have been zero deaths.

The concern comes as Portugal is one of the oldest nations in Europe statistically with 20.7% of the population being over 70.

Ronaldo, 35, owns chains of luxury hotels including the Pestana CR7 in Lisbon aswell as on the Portugal-owned island of Madeira though there have been no cases there yet.
