Chef@Home a new concept from Steven Saunders on the Costa del Sol Spain

Home delivery with a difference Credit: EWN Media Group

STEVEN SAUNDERS who writes a popular weekly page of chat alongside a superb recipe for readers of Euro Weekly News in Costa del Sol just can’t be kept down!

As he and his wife Michele, have had to close The Little Geranium in La Cala de Mijas during the State of Alarm, they don’t intend to just sit at home but have come up with their new concept Chef@Home.

Naturally, Steven can’t travel to cook at your home, but if you are already missing the taste of some of his famous cuisine, then he will cook you a great meal and arrange to deliver it.

This is not a ‘takeaway’ service, rather an individual meal created from fresh food by Steven and his team of professionals.

They will supply two courses at €29 per person with a chance to enjoy his famous crispy duck salad, hand dived scallops, risotto, Galician beef fillet, fresh salmon and much more including dishes suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

There are also plans to offer a range of deserts and cheese as well as some wines specially chosen by Steven to complement the food.

It will take a few days to get everything into place and orders will need to be emailed through 24 hours in advance but if you really want to enjoy some good food even if you can’t get out, check out www.thelittlegeranium.com to see the whole menu and how to order.
