There is a program for “Balcony activities” circulating in Spain, to help us feel connected and less alone.

The last few days, people have been out on the balconies every night to applaud police and health care workers, following Italy’s example, but now the activities get more elaborate!

All activities will take place at 9 pm. (Except for Monday which will be at 8pm)

Monday, March 16: We go out on our balconies with the flashlight lit on our phones, to honour the victims of the coronavirus.

Tuesday, March 17: We all go out on our balconies in our pyjamas and sing SOBREVIVIRÉ  by Mónica Naranjo.

Wednesday, March 18: We sing Cumpleaños Feliz for all of those who celebrate their birthday in March, alone and in quarantine.

Thursday, March 18: We meet the second weekend in quarantine in a very good mood, singing RESISTIRÉ

“We do this to make sure that we have a little fun during this quarantine! You have no excuse to not participate!” says the creators of the program. If you don’t have a balcony, open a window!

You heard them: join in!
