13 deaths in Glasgow care home linked to COVID-19
Euro 2020 has been postponed for a year due to Coronavirus.
The Norwegian Football Association tweeted the news at 12:17 pm today with official confirmation from UEFA expected imminently.
Euro 2020 was due to start on June 12th in Rome and finish at Wembley exactly a month later. It will now take place from June 11th to July 11th, 2021.
In a series of three teleconferences that started at 9 am, President Aleksander Ceferin and his senior officials eventually took the tough decision to postpone.
UEFA’s flagship international tournament was due to take place across 12 different cities to mark the 60th anniversary of the competition.
