Anti-terror police boarded a plane Heathrow Airport to arrest a “drunk” woman for allegedly trying to storm cockpit.
According to sources, police arrived at the scene just after the Malaysian Airlines flight landed, around 4.30am.
Witnesses said someone had been trying to get into the cockpit.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman reported a female passenger was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and was taken into custody.
A number of airlines have been forced to make cuts due to the coronavirus pandemic. BA-owner IAG, EasyJet, Ryanair and Norwegian have all announced plans to cut costs and ground flights.
