Throughout the day starting at 2pm there have been large ships observed off the coast of the Costa Del Sol. At first, there were around 2 or 3 large ships at 2pm but that number has increased in the past hour to over 20.
Louise Sharrock, from El Rosario, reported that these large ships were mainly oil tankers which are long and flat with a cargo ship also in the frame. She checked repeatedly with her binoculars. Her partner commented “they are all queueing up to go and buy oil as the price per barrel has dropped really low”.
We will keep you updated 24/7 with this developing situation as it unfolds.
