LOCAL POLICE in the town of Algaida in inland Mallorca brought a little light relief to the streets to cheer up children trapped indoors under the State of Alarm lockdown. Officers going round in patrol cars with purple gloves blown up to look like balloons on the wing mirrors did a song and dance of popular kiddies’ tune ‘En Joan Petit’ to lift the spirits of confined households’ youngest members.
