After his colleague told him the children were going through a particularly tough time due to the coronavirus crisis the officer decided to do what he could to put a smile back on their faces.
The officer and his motorbike patrol partner pulled up in front of the family home on Sunday lunchtime and to the delight of the family and neighbours pulled out a Mallorcan drum and flute and played a traditional song from Manacor’s annual Sant Antoni fiesta.
Sant Antoni is the town’s most important festivity of the year and is synonymous with fun and happiness.
