JESUS PEREZ, ‘I have moral obligation to help’, credit: Torre del Mar council
JESUS PEREZ ATENCIA Velez-Malaga’s deputy mayor who heads Torre del Mar’s council, donated last month’s salary to coronavirus victims. “We are living through extraordinary times when the smallest gesture is important,” Perez Atencia said. “We be responsible about our work and put everything that is within our reach within the reach of our neighbours,” he explained. “That’s why I feel that in this situation I have the moral and humanitarian obligation to contribute by donating my salary for March to help my town and the people and collectives who could need help right now.”
