THE new figures revealed a significant rise over the last few days, the total number of deaths in Spain is near 10,000. The government also said that the next weeks are critical and are expecting the rate of infections to drop.
Most of the deaths recorded are in Madrid, the epicentre of infections in Spain at the moment, and include mostly elderly patients with a large percentage of pre-existing conditions.
