Costa Blanca’s Alicante police stop 2,800 vehicles and fine 142 motorists in 24 hours after tightening State of Alarm controls in the run up to Easter weekend

ALICANTE Police stopped a record 2,800 vehicles after tightening State of Alarm controls in the run up to Easter weekend, and issued 142 fines.

Motorists from Madrid, Guadalajara, Valladolid and further afield were among those breaching Covid-19 confinement measures, according to Department of Public Safety.
