The Man who brought Andrea Bocelli to Gibraltar dies of Covid-19 in the UK

RICHARD CORAM was a well-known presenter and broadcaster in Dubai but was also a pioneer of live music events in the United Arab Emirates generally.

With his wife Padma, he formed Talent Brokers and brought a myriad of stars over to the Middle East including Chuck Berry and set up a Michael Jackson concert which was eventually cancelled by the late star.

As the director of Neon Angel more recently, he was for the last three years involved in putting together the Gibraltar Calling Concerts as well as those featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and last year Andrea Bocelli.

The Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo has expressed his personal sadness at the loss of a friend who helped promote the Rock around the world and has sent his condolences to son Aryan and family following his untimely death in the UK due to the coronavirus Covid-19.
